About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Commodities Trading & Sales Products Manager (VP Level) to join our Product Management team.

In this role, you will:

  • Be a product owner covering our Commodities Sales & Trading Product.
  • Define and own the Commodities Product vision and roadmap, aligning with Wells Fargo's growth objectives.
  • Facilitate frequent collaboration between Lines of businesses, Product, Quants, Technology, COO, Control, Compliance and other partner teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Influence executive stakeholders and governance forums to prioritize initiatives and allocate resources.
  • Oversee end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and optimization.
  • Drive enhancements in trading capabilities, electronic execution, and risk management tools.
  • Ensure compliance with OCC, FRB, NFA, and Wells Fargo's risk frameworks.
  • Champion robust controls and governance across product development processes.
  • Work within an Agile Product Development framework (e.g. Scrum, etc.), workflow and collaboration tools, such as Confluence & Jira to document and deliver business requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Mentor and develop junior product managers; foster a culture of innovation and accountability.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience and knowledge of the Commodities Sales and Trading businesses.
  • 5+ years of industry related experience.
  • Prior experience in product development, product management or change management capacity
  • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, at all levels of the organization, including senior executive-level leadership
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio and PowerPoint) and reporting tools (PowerBI, Tableau) skills
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, engineering, math, economics, finance, or related field
  • Experience with Agile practices and frameworks (e.g., Kanban, Scrum, etc.) and workflow and collaboration tools, such as Confluence, Jira and Jira Align.

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel as needed

  • Willingness to work on-site in accordance with current office requirements

  • Ability to work additional hours as needed

  • This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire.
