Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Toast.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure an exceptional customer experience from order to completion.
• Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with integrity and accuracy, including processing payments and giving correct change.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering strictly to food safety and food handling standards.
• Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with legal alcohol service regulations.
• Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages promptly to keep pace during busy hours.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during banquets or catering events, ensuring seamless delivery of food and drinks.
• Use basic math skills for inventory management, sales tracking, and cash reconciliation at the end of each shift.
• Uphold all health regulations related to food safety and sanitation standards across the food industry.
• Assist in setting up for special events such as weddings or corporate functions, providing excellent catering service in diverse settings.
• Stay informed about current brewing trends or cocktail recipes to enhance menu offerings and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar food service role within fine dining, or banquet environments is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is essential for efficient order processing.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively while managing multiple orders simultaneously.
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively without compromising quality or safety standards.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is required to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management are necessary for accurate transactions.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed in hospitality settings or catering events.

Pay: $ $400.00 per day

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
