Job Summary
The Material Coordinator supports the assigned manufacturing department with materials. Verify inventory, cycle counting, reordering, inputting data, kit pulling and carrying out safety checks.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain work cell stock locations.
- Trigger order signal for components on electronic replenishment.
- Conducts cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and reports discrepancies.
- Process backorder items and expedites materials.
- Loads, moves and unloads material to various inventory locations.
- Completes and processes all associated documentation.
- Collaborate with various departments to manage efficient flow of all materials.
- Coordinate with departments to ensure efficient movement of all materials and evaluate all materials sent to production department.
- Coordinate with production lead and department managers to ensure accountability for all materials.
- Checking incoming materials for any defects or flaws that may need to be addressed prior to use in manufacturing.
- Inform production lead and manager when inventory is low or when materials are no longer usable due to defects or damage.
- Monitoring material inventories to ensure that the correct number of materials are on hand at all times.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, associates degree preferred.
- 3 years of related work experience, preferably in an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25lbs.

- Experience using an ERP system (Oracle a plus)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Salary Range: $20-25 per hour
