Facilities Maintenance Technician

Position Overview:
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for the general maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the company's facilities, yard, and equipment. Performs a variety of maintenance and repair tasks including electrical, mechanical, and HVAC. Conducts routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform specific duties during both operating and non-operating hours in a timely manner.
• Monitor performance of equipment and inform maintenance supervisors of potential problems.
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Assist with facility upgrades, renovations, and equipment installations.
• Conducts routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency breakdowns.
• Respond to maintenance requests and work orders promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and request new materials as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements
Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in facility maintenance or related field.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in various environments (indoors/outdoors, heights, confined spaces)
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Bilingual a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb stairs and ladders, reach, squat, push, and pull objects.
• Ability to regularly lift 50lbs and occasionally lift up to 100lbs.
• Ability to tolerate working outdoors in all temperatures and weather conditions.
• Ability to lift objects of various dimensions and weights.
