Beacon is a successful and national behavioral health company providing residential-based services and
supports to children and adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Severe Mental Illness,
Autism, and high-acuity behaviors. All activities related to this position must be delivered in compliance

requirements, HCBS guidelines, and the contractual requirements of Community Mental Health Agencies

Position Summary:
This role is central to sourcing, recruiting, and hiring compassionate and skilled Care Home staff to
support individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Severe Mental Illness, Autism,
and high-acuity behaviors.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Always be compliant with all company and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Lead recruitment for Direct Support Professionals and other roles, including sourcing,
interviewing, and offer negotiation.
- Partner with hiring managers and senior leadership to implement strategic hiring initiatives
aligned with company growth goals.
- Develop sourcing strategies across platforms and maintain compliance with Joint
Commission standards and other regulatory guidelines.
- Promote a people-first culture by aligning hiring practices with Beacon's "I CARE" core
values: Integrity, Compassion, Advocacy, Respect, and Excellence.

will never truly understand.
- Follow Beacon's policies, procedures, and manuals.
- Cooperates with Beacon Specialized Living, the Department of Human Services (DHS) staff or any
other regulatory body during any inspection, investigation or inquiry.
- Accept other duties as assigned.

Education and Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of recruiting experience, preferably in healthcare or behavioral health.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and ATS platforms.
- Experience with employment law and behavioral-based interviewing techniques preferred.
- Must pass criminal background check.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License.
- Proficient in speaking, reading and writing the English language.
- Approved by state, federal and government entities to work within BSLS programs.
- Ability to use office equipment, including BSLS information technology systems.

- Strong computer skills utilizing various software programs and applications.

Work Environment:
Most of your job duties will be performed from an office.
Travel:
Frequent travel of about 50% is required.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to
successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision
abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. This would require the
ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
