Texas HHSC is seeking an experienced
Business Analyst (8+ yrs)
to support business systems analysis, requirements gathering, and SDLC activities. The ideal candidate has strong experience partnering with business and IT teams, performing data analysis, and supporting testing phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, analyze & evaluate business systems and user needs
• Lead requirements gathering & business process reengineering
• Create business process maps, solution options & cost/benefit analysis
• Collaborate with Architecture, Project Delivery & Application teams
• Support unit, system & user acceptance testing
• Document user needs, program functions & technical steps
• Participate in design & development review sessions

Required Skills (8+ Years):

• Business systems analysis
• Business analysis knowledge areas (BABOK)
• SDLC methodologies
• Test planning & support (Unit, System, UAT)
• Strong communication & documentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple assignments independently

Preferred:

• Case management systems experience
• Jira project management experience
• Data analysis & understanding of technology
• PMP or project management background
