Join our growing logistics team in Richmond, Virginia as a Warehouse Worker. This role is fundamental to our supply chain operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods from our facility to customers. You will be involved in all aspects of warehouse management, from receiving and put-away to picking, packing, and shipping. Responsibilities:
- Accepting, inspecting, and storing incoming inventory.
- Accurately picking items for customer orders using handheld scanners or pick lists.
- Packing orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Loading and unloading delivery trucks.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.
- Operating pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Assisting with inventory control and stock rotation.
- Performing general warehouse duties as assigned.
- Collaborating with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of items up to 45 pounds.
- Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
- Familiarity with basic logistics principles.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
