We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and manage daily operations at our Las Vegas, Nevada facility. This key role is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods within our logistics network. You will supervise warehouse staff, manage inventory, coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, and ensure adherence to all safety and operational procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of logistics principles. This position requires vigilance in maintaining a safe working environment, including ensuring all staff utilize appropriate PPE and follow safety protocols. While primarily supervisory, there may be instances requiring manual lifting.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and inventory management operations.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse operating procedures to maximize productivity and minimize errors.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Coordinate with carriers for inbound and outbound logistics, optimizing scheduling and costs.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and the use of PPE.
- Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and repair schedules.
- Handle any necessary lifting or physical tasks as required, though the primary focus is coordination and oversight.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Proven experience in a warehouse management or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in WMS and other relevant software.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and experience implementing safety programs.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 50 lbs when necessary.
- Must ensure and enforce the use of PPE.
