Our dynamic logistics center in Charlotte, North Carolina is seeking a dedicated Order Picker to join our team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your precision and speed directly impact our ability to meet customer demands and maintain our high standards in the supply chain. You'll work in a fast-paced environment where accuracy is key, utilizing tools and technology to locate and gather items. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations according to order tickets or RF scanner data.
- Verify product codes, descriptions, and quantities before moving items.
- Safely operate equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers to navigate the warehouse.
- Transport picked items to consolidation, packing, or shipping areas.
- Stage orders correctly to ensure efficient processing for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, keeping aisles clear and accessible.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any inventory discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
- Participate in inventory control activities as needed, such as cycle counts.
- Perform other warehouse support tasks as assigned to ensure operational flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous order picking or warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
- Capability for repetitive Lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Understanding and compliance with all Safety procedures.
