Seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist for our St. Louis, Missouri facility. This role is vital to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, a cornerstone of our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to verify stock accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder points, coordinating with purchasing for replenishment.
  • Track the movement of goods within the warehouse, ensuring all transactions are recorded properly.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, slow-moving items, and potential obsolescence.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of inventory to prevent damage or loss.
  • Work closely with warehouse associates and management to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency.
  • Adhere to all Safety regulations and ensure the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in all areas.
  • Generate reports on inventory status, accuracy, and movement for management review.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics and warehousing departments.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks as needed, including some Lifting.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
  • Organizational and time-management abilities.
