Join our expanding team in Provo, Utah as a Warehouse Coordinator! This key role involves overseeing and coordinating daily warehouse activities to ensure efficient and accurate operations. You will be responsible for managing inventory, supervising warehouse staff, optimizing workflow, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. Your leadership and organizational skills are crucial for maintaining smooth logistics operations and supporting our company's growth. We are looking for a proactive individual with strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to excellence. This position requires a blend of operational knowledge and team management.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels, utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse associates, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse layouts and workflows to optimize space and productivity.
- Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
- Monitor and manage inbound and outbound logistics, coordinating with carriers and suppliers.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Investigate and resolve operational issues and discrepancies promptly.
- Manage warehouse equipment and ensure its proper maintenance and functionality.
- Generate reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and logistics efficiency for management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse management or coordination.
- Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
- Proficiency with WMS and other relevant warehouse software.
- Excellent understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and inventory control principles.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant workplace.
