We are hiring experienced Forklift Operators for our busy distribution center in Phoenix, Arizona. This critical role ensures the efficient and safe movement of goods throughout our warehouse. You will operate forklifts to load and unload trucks, transport materials, and assist with inventory management. The ideal candidate possesses excellent maneuvering skills, a strong understanding of warehouse safety, and a commitment to maintaining operational flow. This position requires individuals who are reliable, safety-conscious, and able to perform tasks that involve moderate to heavy Lifting. Adherence to all company safety policies and the consistent use of required PPE are paramount. As a Forklift Operator, you are an integral part of our logistics chain, contributing directly to the timely and accurate processing of orders. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in a warehouse environment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and shipping/receiving docks.
- Transport goods to and from designated storage areas.
- Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any issues.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock management.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and protocols.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times while operating equipment or on the warehouse floor.
- Handle tasks involving moderate to heavy Lifting as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification or license.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including Lifting.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety best practices and material handling.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Commitment to wearing PPE and following safety guidelines.
