We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Fulfillment Associate for our Washington, D.C. distribution center. In this role, you will be integral to our logistics process, responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment. Your efficiency and accuracy directly impact customer satisfaction. You will work with a team to ensure that all orders are processed correctly and on time. This position involves physical activity and requires a commitment to maintaining a highly organized and safe work environment. Adherence to all company safety policies, including the proper use of PPE, is crucial.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using order lists or scanners.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify order accuracy before packaging and shipment.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup.
- Assist with receiving and stocking incoming inventory as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts as required.
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Contribute to meeting daily fulfillment and shipping targets.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or similar role is a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs, standing, bending, and walking for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Team-oriented with good communication skills. Understanding of warehouse safety practices. Commitment to wearing required PPE. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
