Join our state-of-the-art Distribution Center as a Distribution Center Associate in Phoenix, Arizona! We are seeking diligent and reliable individuals to contribute to the seamless flow of goods through our logistics network. As a DC Associate, you will engage in a variety of tasks, including receiving and inspecting inbound freight, accurately picking and packing orders, staging products for shipment, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse. This role requires a strong commitment to operational efficiency and an unwavering focus on Safety. You will be trained on various equipment and processes to ensure you can perform your duties effectively and securely. We emphasize the importance of utilizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times and adhering to all established Safety procedures. This position involves physical activity, including walking, standing, bending, and Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify inbound shipments against purchase orders.
- Inspect merchandise for damage and report any issues.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using WMS and scanning technology.
- Pack orders with care, ensuring product protection and correct labeling.
- Stage completed orders for outbound transportation.
- Organize and maintain inventory within designated storage areas.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts - certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Proper use and maintenance of all required PPE.
- Must be able to perform manual Lifting of items up to 60 lbs.
- Assist in various Logistics functions as directed by management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding setting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Capability to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and Lifting.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and protocols.
- Must be a team player with good communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overtime.
- Experience with WMS is a plus.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and proper use of PPE.
