We are seeking experienced and certified Forklift Operators to join our busy warehouse in Virginia Beach, Virginia. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise in our warehouse. Your role is crucial for maintaining the flow of goods, ensuring accurate inventory placement, and supporting shipping and receiving operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe forklift operation, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment. Certification from a recognized forklift training program is required. You will operate various types of forklifts, including sit-down and stand-up models, to move materials. This role also involves general warehouse duties, including picking, packing, and loading/unloading trucks as needed. Adherence to all safety regulations, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is non-negotiable. Significant lifting may be required when not operating equipment. We are committed to a culture of safety and expect all team members to actively participate in maintaining a secure workplace. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and strong knowledge of logistics principles are beneficial. This is a key role in our operations, requiring precision and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.
