In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders and then carefully packing them for shipment. This position requires a strong attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to accuracy. We prioritize the safety of our employees, so adherence to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is essential. This role involves considerable physical activity, including standing, walking, and frequent lifting of items up to 35 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations according to order details.
- Verify item specifications and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Package items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packing materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment and prepare them for transit.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
- Strictly follow all safety guidelines and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock verification.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet productivity goals.
- Ensure the safe handling and movement of goods within the logistics environment.
- Report any stock discrepancies or equipment issues promptly.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring regular lifting (up to 35 lbs).
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good manual dexterity and coordination.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable with standing and walking for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of logistics operations is beneficial.
