This position demands physical stamina, including prolonged periods of standing, walking, and the ability to handle frequent lifting of items up to 30 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations according to order lists.
- Verify item numbers and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing station.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety standards and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet daily picking targets.
- Handle products with care to prevent damage.
- Ensure the efficient movement of goods within the logistics framework.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory or equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks involving regular lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Understanding of safety guidelines and PPE usage.
- Capacity to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Familiarity with basic logistics and inventory management.
