Join our esteemed logistics team in Washington, D.C., as a Material Handler! We are searching for dedicated individuals to manage the flow of goods within our busy distribution center. Your responsibilities will include receiving and inspecting incoming materials, accurately stocking inventory, operating material handling equipment (such as forklifts and pallet jacks), and preparing materials for shipment or internal movement. This role is fundamental to ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with various departments to meet material demands and maintain optimal stock levels. A strong emphasis on Safety is maintained; adherence to all safety protocols and the correct usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This position involves regular Lifting of materials, with some items weighing up to 55 pounds, and operating powered industrial trucks. Prior experience is a plus, but we provide training for qualified candidates.
