We are hiring Order Pickers to join our bustling logistics operations in Boston, Massachusetts! In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your primary tools will include scanning devices, allowing you to efficiently locate, verify, and record picked items. Accuracy and attention to detail are paramount, as your work directly impacts customer satisfaction and inventory management. You'll be working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and will be expected to maintain high productivity levels. Safety is our top priority; therefore, you must strictly adhere to all safety regulations and consistently wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires physical stamina, including the ability to walk for extended periods, stand, bend, and perform moderate lifting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items according to customer orders using scanning technology.
- Verify product codes, quantities, and condition of items.
- Stage picked items in designated areas for packing and shipping.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock location accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear all required PPE, including safety shoes and gloves.
- Meet established performance metrics for picking speed and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs on a regular basis.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills.
