We are hiring a Fulfillment Associate for our Austin, Texas distribution center! This role is key to our e-commerce operations, focusing on picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. You will be part of a team dedicated to ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment, directly impacting customer satisfaction. This position requires efficiency, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to managing tasks within our logistics framework. You will work with various products and equipment, necessitating adherence to all safety procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE ).
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products for customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Prepare orders for shipping, including labeling and staging.
- Conduct quality checks on picked and packed items.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed.
- Assist with receiving and put-away tasks when required.
- Contribute to team goals for order fulfillment speed and accuracy.
- Proper use and care of all assigned PPE .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order details.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions.
- Capability of performing moderate lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics and order fulfillment processes.
- Knowledge of and willingness to use required PPE .
- Basic computer skills.
- A commitment to workplace safety .
