Join our fast-paced warehouse in Provo, Utah as a certified Forklift Operator! We are looking for experienced and safety-conscious individuals to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment. You will be responsible for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. This position is vital to our daily logistics operations, ensuring efficient and safe handling of goods throughout the warehouse. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be key to success in this role. We offer a supportive work environment and opportunities for growth. Compliance with all company policies, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE ), is required.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Move materials from receiving to storage areas and from storage to shipping areas.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Properly stack and store materials, ensuring stability and accessibility.
- Adhere to all company policies, including the use of mandated PPE .
- Contribute to a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Strong understanding of forklift safety procedures.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring significant lifting and prolonged standing/walking.
- Familiarity with scanning equipment and WMS is a plus.
- Must wear required PPE at all times in designated areas.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
