Jacksonville, Florida - We are hiring enthusiastic Pickers/Packers to join our fast-paced logistics facility. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders and then preparing them for shipment. Attention to detail, speed, and a commitment to quality are crucial. You will work with scanning equipment and other tools to ensure order accuracy and timely processing. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on order lists or system prompts.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Package selected items securely and efficiently for shipment, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly with shipping information and any required documentation.
- Operate hand-held scanners and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse cleanliness.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Report any issues with inventory, equipment, or orders to a supervisor promptly.
- Must be able to handle lifting of items up to 35 lbs repeatedly.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels accurately.
- Proficiency in using hand-held scanners and other order fulfillment technology.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Awareness of and adherence to safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE.
