Join our dynamic healthcare team as a *Part-time Physical Therapist for a locally owned PT clinic. *In this role, you will deliver personalized physical therapy services across diverse backgrounds. Your expertise in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology will empower patients to regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall quality of life. This position offers flexible hours for motivated professionals eager to bring energy and compassion to patient care while advancing their clinical skills. Working with patients one-on-one while effectively communicating with support staff within our team approach.
*Responsibilities*
* Assess patients’ physical conditions through comprehensive evaluations, developing tailored care plans that align with their recovery goals.
* Implement evidence-based physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, orthopedics interventions, and geriatrics-focused exercises to optimize outcomes.
* Manage discharge planning processes by coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions from hospital to home or community settings.
* Provide specialized care for pediatric, geriatric, and adult populations in our out-patient clinic in Spokane Valley, WA.
* Document patient progress meticulously using electronic medical record (EMR) systems; update treatment plans regularly based on patient response.
* Educate patients and caregivers on physiotherapy exercises, injury prevention strategies, and home care routines to promote long-term wellness.
* Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
*Requirements*
* *Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in WA State.*
* Demonstrated experience in acute care, hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or home health environments. = (One+ year minimum)
* Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and care plan development.
* Proven ability to perform discharge planning effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
* Familiarity with EMR systems for accurate documentation and patient record management.
* Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics with an emphasis on manual therapy.
* Excellent communication skills to educate patients and collaborate with healthcare providers effectively.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 25 per week
