Description
Position Purpose
At
Saint Francis Hospital
the inpatient Oncology Unit provides care to patients with solid tumor cancers, hematologic cancers, and benign hematologic conditions. We also provide care to medical/surgical patients. We provide hospice and end of life services.

What You'll Do
Supervise charge nurses and frontline staff

Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and throughput

Support performance management and regulatory compliance

Promote evidence-based practices and clinical excellence

Foster a healing, inclusive, and respectful environment

Lead through change and innovation

Build trusting relationships and model compassionate communication

Required
What You'll Need

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current RN license in Connecticut
  • BSN from an accredited school of nursing

Preferred

  • MSN degree
  • Leadership experience or relevant certifications

Work Schedule

  • 40 hours Days – Full-time
