Why this role exists

• Own v1/v2
  of a product clinicians use every day and see your work land in real practices within weeks.
• Shape the company
  : architecture, product direction, hiring bar, and execution rituals.
• Build where AI is actually useful
  —reducing clinical busywork and improving care decisions.

What you'll do

• Design and build the core product surface
  end-to-end: data modeling, APIs, front-end experience, and the glue between them.
• Ship AI-powered workflows
  for clinicians (reasoning support, summarization, drafting, retrieval) with evaluation, safety, and versioning.
• Integrate with clinical systems
  (EHRs, scheduling, comms, telemedicine) and make them feel seamless.
• Bake in privacy and compliance
  from day one (auditability, access controls, secure handling of sensitive data).
• Create leverage
  : internal tooling, observability, CI/CD, lightweight guardrails so a small team can ship weekly.
• Work directly with founders and clinicians
  to scope, prototype, measure, and iterate quickly.

You might be a fit if you've…

• Built

  at an early-stage startup and owned an entire product slice.
• Are a
  true full-stack generalist
  who enjoys moving across data, APIs, and UI as the problem demands.
• Shipped
  LLM-based features
  (or credible prototypes) and care about evaluations, safety, and iteration speed.
• Have a strong technical foundation (CS or comparable quantitative degree) and product taste.
• Move with
  ownership and curiosity
  : you learn fast, reduce scope intelligently, and make things real.

  This role is remote, ideally based in the San Francisco Bay Area or interested in relo. Open to other locations w/ travel for the right candidate.
• Comp:
  $180-220k base % equity
