Overview

Country Inn & Suites Aiken is seeking a motivated and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to support our sales efforts and build strong relationships within the local community. The ideal candidate will have hands-on hotel experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for providing excellent guest service. This role focuses on growing corporate and group business, maintaining positive guest relations, and supporting daily hotel operations as needed. Bilingual abilities are a plus for assisting our diverse guest base. The Sales Manager will play a key role in driving revenue, promoting the hotel, and upholding Country Inn & Suites standards.

Duties

  • Develop and execute sales plans to increase corporate, group, and extended-stay business.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local companies, hospitals, government accounts, and event organizers.
  • Conduct outside sales calls, property tours, and follow-ups with potential clients.
  • Work closely with the General Manager to set rate strategies and assist with revenue management.
  • Respond to group inquiries, prepare contracts, and manage blocks in Choice Advantage.
  • Support front desk and guest relations when needed to ensure a smooth guest experience.
  • Assist with front office tasks such as answering phones, helping with guest issues, and supporting busy check-in/check-out periods.
  • Coordinate with management on staffing needs, training support, and team communication.
  • Monitor daily operations such as guest service, group arrivals, and special requests.
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety procedures, and hotel policies.

Skills

  • Proven experience in hotel sales or front desk/operations within a limited-service or mid-scale hotel.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a focus on guest and client satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of group bookings, rate negotiation, and basic revenue management concepts.
  • Experience with front desk procedures, phone etiquette, and guest service standards.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
  • Ability to work closely with the GM and staff to support overall hotel performance.
  • Familiarity with Choice Advantage or other hotel PMS systems is a plus.
  • PRIOR SALES EXPERIENCE IS A MUST

Pay: $ $14.75 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
