We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs to buildings, facilities, and equipment. Preference given to those with HVAC experience/background.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain buildings.
• Complete set-ups and tear down for scheduled campus activities.
• Perform general maintenance using basic skills in carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry, appliance repair, and electrical wiring.
• Operate and maintain tools used in the maintenance and repair of building facilities.
• Conduct HVAC inspections and change filters as needed.
• Perform on call duties as needed/assigned.
• Ensure environment is safe and working properly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

• Have a valid driver's license
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Work from ladders
• Climb stairs
• Stand or walk for long periods of time.
• Stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
• Work in an outdoor environment, with exposure to inclement weather and varying temperatures.

Minimum Work Experience:

• 3 years' experience in general maintenance
• 3 years' experience in one or more building trades
• added incentive for those with HVAC experience

Passing a Drug Screening and Background Check is required for employment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
