Position Title: Material Registrar / Handler
Department: Logistics & Engineering – Semiconductor Support
Reports to: On-Site Supervisor / Project Manager
Job Type: Full-time, In-Person (Compressed Work Week Schedule after training)
Location: Taylor, Texas
Training will require travel to Chandler, Arizona all expenses paid by the company.

Introduction
Under direct supervision, the Material Registrar/Handler is responsible for facilitating the receipt, verification, computer transaction, and physical movement of all inventory and non-inventory items within the system work area at the customer site. A safety-first mindset is required at all times to ensure compliance with company and client standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Physically move material between Cleanroom Lay Down Area and System Work Area.
- Conduct weekly cycle counts of inventory in the System Work Area.
- Log material moved in/out of the work area and handed off to Engineers using computer systems.
- Expedite line-down parts and urgent material needs to appropriate work areas.
- Coordinate with Engineers to ensure required items are available for scheduled shift work.
- Log material confirmations via computer systems to track: Parts installed, used part returns, unused part returns, and tool returns.
- Support daily material staging, returns, and system work area organization.
- Move material between work areas for reallocations as required.
- Prepare materials for return, ensuring proper identification, packaging, and completeness.
- Interface with SAP Coordinators for staging, returns, and material investigations.
- Perform other assigned duties to support material logistics and inventory management.
- Interpret and act on data, documents, and inventory records accurately.
- Interact professionally with Engineers, Coordinators, and other staff.
- Continuously learn and apply new skills and information.
- Always uphold a safety-first approach in material handling, movement, and documentation.
Education & Skills
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2 years' experience (cleanroom and warehouse experience required; manufacturing environment experience preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and report problems effectively in written or graphical formats.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Oracle, and email systems.
- Commitment to safety procedures and cleanroom protocols.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Requires frequent sitting, walking, talking, hearing, keyboard use, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching, and stretching.
- Must adhere to gowning requirements for extended periods in cleanroom environments.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work under deadlines in moderate temperature/noise environments.
- May require periodic travel to regional and overseas sites for technical or support projects.
- Some technical support may involve heavy lifting of equipment or modules in production/lab settings.
