Armed Security Officer - Full-time - IMMEDIATE OPENING

MUST HAVE ACTIVE MARYLAND GUARD CARD AND WEAR & CARRY PERMIT

**MUST BE ABLE TO WORK LATE AFTERNOON | EVENING HOURS**

Shift times: Monday - Thursday 2pm to 10pm, and Fridays/Saturdays/Sundays 5pm to 1am.

Schedules posted 4 to 6 weeks in advance.

ARMED SECURITY GUARD-

Centennial Protection Group is seeking a highly motivated, PROFESSIONAL and qualified applicant to serve as part of our Armed Officer team for residential communities in Glen Burnie and Essex.

Candidate MUST be able to work at BOTH job sites and be able to start within 1-2 week of this job posting.

Minimum Requirements:
Possess a Maryland Handgun Permit for 2+ years (current or former military or police can substitute service time for the required 2+ years)
MUST HAVE at least 1 years armed guard or similar experience, NO EXCEPTIONS
Own a firearm
Own a utility belt and a level 2 or 3 holster
Must be flexible and be a TEAM PLAYER
Must be able to walk long periods of time
Must be Drug Free and pass a drug test
Pass a background check
No criminal convictions
Must be physically fit
Good moral character
Possess RELIABLE transportation.

Preferred: A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE and CLEAN DRIVING RECORD with NO ACCIDENTS OR VIOLATIONS of any kind in the PAST 5 YEARS.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to legally work in the United States
Truthfulness during the entire hiring process
Possess a great attitude, personality, and professional appearance
Ability to communicate and interact with the public in a professional manner
Possess excellent written and oral communication skills in the English language
Possess a cell phone
Possess basic computer skills
