About Us

Nourished 8:18 Wellness LLC is a new virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based substance use disorder treatment. We're building a team of passionate professionals committed to making quality care accessible through innovative telehealth services.

Position Overview

We're seeking a warm, organized Admissions Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for individuals seeking recovery support. This part-time, 100% remote position is perfect for someone who combines excellent interpersonal skills with strong administrative abilities and a passion for helping others access the care they need.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and web contact forms in a timely, compassionate manner
• Conduct initial phone screenings to assess program fit and service needs
• Explain program services, treatment approach, and admission requirements
• Verify insurance benefits and provide cost estimates to prospective clients
• Schedule intake assessments and coordinate with clinical team
• Maintain accurate records in electronic health record system (AZZLY)
• Follow up with prospective clients throughout the admission process
• Coordinate with referral sources including courts, probation, and treatment providers
• Track admission metrics and maintain organized client pipeline
• Ensure all admission documentation is complete and HIPAA-compliant

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum 1-2 years experience in customer service, healthcare, or social services
• Excellent phone presence and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with computers, email, and ability to learn new software systems
• Compassionate approach to working with individuals seeking recovery support
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
• Ohio residency (required for HIPAA compliance)
• Private, secure workspace with reliable, private internet connection

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or medical admissions
• Knowledge of insurance verification and benefits
• Familiarity with electronic health records systems
• Understanding of substance use disorder and recovery principles
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Schedule

Part-time hours with some flexibility. Must be available during business hours (Monday-Friday, some evening availability preferred to accommodate client schedules).

Additional Information

This is a contractor position. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and reside in Ohio. Due to HIPAA requirements, all work must be conducted from a private, secure location with a secure internet connection.
