Restaurant Host

Job Summary
We are seeking someone who epitomizes warmth and welcome to our guests. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and efficient seating arrangements. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and inviting demeanor.
• Manage reservations and seating charts to optimize guest flow and minimize wait times.
• Provide menus and inform guests of specials or promotions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station.
• Assist in managing guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Utilize the Toast POS system.
• Uphold high standards of hospitality and guest relations throughout the dining experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Host/Host or in food service is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving techniques and hospitality standards.
• Experience with Toast POS system is a plus.
• Ability to handle phone etiquette professionally when managing reservations or inquiries.
• Background in hotel or guest services is advantageous but not required.
