The Recruiter will report to the Sr. Lead, Talent Acquisition, and serve as a key recruiting partner for the family of brands. The recruiter will work closely in partnership with business leaders as well as HR and EHS business partners. This position will also play a critical role in developing partnerships within the local community to increase awareness and visibility of open positions, establish talent pipelines, and increase brand awareness. High Volume recruiting experience strongly preferred.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage full lifecycle recruiting process, including screening resumes and interviewing candidates (by phone and in person)
  • Partner with Business leaders and Talent Acquisition team to execute recruiting strategies and acquire top-performing talent
  • Determine applicant qualifications by pre-screening applicants, analyzing responses, and comparing qualifications to job requirements
  • Provide a high-quality experience for every potential candidate through effective communication and consistent follow-through
  • Track and report on hires per week for management and other reports as requested
  • Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites
  • Leverage online recruiting resources, recent market developments, social media and other business resources to build talent pipeline
  • Assist with new hire orientations on weekly or as-needed basis; maintain current new hire orientation materials and presentation
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
  • Organize and attend job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities
  • Maintain reasonable and reliable attendance as well as business casual attire
  • Work extended hours, including weekends during peak season

Day-to-day Expectations

  • Working hours 8:30am – 5pm, exception Westerville 7:30am – 4:00pm
  • No overtime without prior approval
  • 30-minute unpaid lunch is required every day scheduled to work 5.5 hours or more, without exceptions.
  • Business casual dress code: code of dress that blends traditional business wear with a more relaxed style that's still professional and appropriate for an office environment.
  • Dress pants, khakis, knee-length skirts, jeans without rips or holes
  • Button-down shirts, sweaters, blouses, polos, 1-800-Flowers branded ¼ zips, sweatshirts, t-shirts (exception: Casual Fridays)
  • Knee-length or maxi dresses
  • Closed-toed shoes such as sneakers, boots, pumps or flats
