Position Summary

We are hiring a Mill Operator for our 2nd shift. This role is responsible for operating CNC mills, completing setups, inspecting parts, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. The ideal candidate pays close attention to detail, follows processes accurately, and thrives in a fast paced shop.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC mills efficiently
• Complete setups for new jobs
• Inspect parts during production and identify errors
• Deburr and sand parts
• Load tools and enter offsets
• Perform routine machine maintenance during the shift
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards
• Carry out other duties assigned by management

What We Look For

• Experience with basic hand tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, scales, and thread gauges
• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
• Problem solving skills
• Good time management

Work Environment

• Climate controlled machine shop
• Exposure to sharp tooling and materials
• Periodic loud noise
• Fast paced production setting

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
• Repetitive bending and twisting
• Standing for long periods
