Press Operator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and a passion for producing high-quality materials. As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining presses, ensuring that all jobs meet our quality standards and specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Operate and monitor presses to produce high-quality print materials.
• Set up press equipment according to job specifications, including prepress tasks such as layout.
• Conduct regular quality control checks throughout the process to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the process, including equipment malfunctions.
• Collaborate with supervisors to ensure that product meets client expectations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the press area, adhering to safety protocols.
• Fabricate necessary components for jobs as required.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Press Operator or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Experience with quality control measures in a production environment.
• Knowledge of machining processes related to molding equipment is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
