Are you a seasoned sales leader with deep experience in industrial minerals, raw materials, or specialty chemicals? Our client—a leader in the mining and materials processing industry—is seeking a dynamic
Senior Sales Manager
to lead and grow their minerals division sales team.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for customer satisfaction, revenue growth, market strategy, and team development. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, technical environments and brings both strategic vision and hands-on leadership to drive success.
What You'll Do:
- Lead a team of regional sales managers to meet ambitious growth and customer satisfaction targets.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans using the Miller Heiman process.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, logistics, and new business development teams to enhance service delivery and identify growth opportunities.
- Manage customer relationships at all levels, from procurement to executive leadership.
- Analyze market trends, oversee pricing strategies, and lead contract negotiations.
- Champion CRM (C4C) adoption and continuous improvement in sales processes.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and in customer engagements.
What You Bring:
- 8–10+ years of proven sales leadership experience in industrial minerals, base/specialty chemicals, or raw materials (e.g., clay, lime, glass, fiberglass).
- Demonstrated success managing sales teams and driving results through coaching, strategy, and collaboration.
- Strong understanding of customers' technical processes and applications in industries like clay, environmental, pulp & paper, and chemical manufacturing.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field (Master's/MBA preferred).
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- High level of initiative, urgency, and strategic thinking.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the region.
