Job Title: Delivery Driver
Location: 1925 Alum Creek Dr. Columbus, OH 43207
Reports To: Operations Supervisor
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm (or until route completion)
- Some days may require an earlier start time to get to required earlier deliveries.
Compensation: $20.48
Position Summary:
As Delivery Driver at Crimson Cup CoffeeTea, you will drive company owned vehicles to deliver orders to local wholesale customers and/or grocery stores. This role is customer facing and is relied upon to represent the company well and deliver a positive customer experience.
Delivery Operations
- Load coffee products (beans, equipment, supplies) into the delivery vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Transport and deliver products to coffee shops and local businesses according to scheduled routes.
- Verify order accuracy before departure and upon delivery.
- Navigate routes using GPS to ensure timely arrivals.
- Handle products with care to prevent damage during transit.
- Collect delivery confirmations, signatures, or payments as required.
Vehicle MaintenanceSafety
Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly to the designated supervisor or the Service Manager.
- Follow all company safety protocols and traffic regulations.
Customer Service
Communicate professionally and courteously with customers during deliveries.
- Represent Crimson Cup CoffeeTea with a positive and professional attitude.
- Address customer questions or concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
WarehouseInventory Support
Assist with inventory management and stock organization when not on delivery routes.
Support warehouse operations including packing, sorting, and restocking products.
ReportingCommunication
Report any delivery issues, delays, or customer feedback to the Customer Experience team and/or the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.
Union Compliance Statement:
This position and its responsibilities are governed by the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Employees will not be assigned duties outside their classification without proper consultation and agreement with union representation. Cross-training and task rotation will be offered in accordance with seniority rules and union guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- At least three years driving experience
- Must submit an MVR for review with Crimson Cup insurance provider.
- Strong work ethic and sense of urgency
- Willingness to go the extra mile to take care of the customer
- Excellent communications skills
- Ability to work independently
- Friendly, engaging personality
- High School diploma or working to complete it
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull cases ranging from 20-50 lbs repeatedly during shift
