Barback/Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced fine dining environment. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders by ensuring that the bar is well-stocked, organized, and operating smoothly. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to thrive in a high-energy atmosphere.

Duties

• Assist bartenders in preparing drinks and serving customers promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Stock and replenish supplies such as liquor, beer, wine, garnishes, and ice as needed.
• Help with cash handling procedures, including operating the cash register when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and responding to their needs.
• Support the overall sales efforts of the bar by promoting specials and upselling beverages.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in fine dining settings.
• Familiarity with MenuSifu POS system or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong cash handling skills and experience operating cash registers.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
