About the Role
Our client is seeking an
Application Engineer
to join their engineering team and serve as a technical bridge between customers, sales, and internal stakeholders. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving real-world problems, supporting complex applications, and working across industries such as machine tools, medical equipment, power generation, manufacturing, and testing & verification.
You'll be a key technical resource—supporting product applications, developing proposals, creating drawings, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure successful project execution and product performance.
Projects You'll Work On
- Supporting customers and field sales teams with technical guidance on product applications
- Developing engineering solutions and written proposals tailored to customer requirements
- Creating and maintaining technical drawings used for quotations, manufacturing, and customer review
- Collaborating with project managers and customer service to meet project specifications and timelines
- Contributing to product documentation including data sheets, catalogs, and technical literature
- Supporting quality control initiatives and product standardization efforts
- Assisting with the evaluation and introduction of new products into the portfolio
- Participating in project meetings and technical reviews
- Supporting internal and external training efforts for sales and technical teams
What Experience You Should Bring
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related discipline (Mechanical or Civil preferred)
- 3+ years of relevant experience, or entry-level candidates with strong academic training
- Experience in environments such as power generation, machinery installation, vibration isolation, or manufacturing is highly valued
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and mechanical systems
- Proficiency with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, DraftSight, and/or AutoCAD
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work with limited information
