Laundry Attendant-Night Castleton

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant for the Night shift at our Castleton location. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our hotel linens, towels, and uniforms to ensure a high standard of guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience in laundry operations, including cleaning and dry cleaning processes, and a background in hotel environment operations is a plus. Duties

• Operate commercial laundry equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and uniforms according to established standards.
• Handle special laundry requests, including dry cleaning when applicable.
• Ensure all items are cleaned thoroughly and meet quality standards before returning to guest rooms or storage.
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, including equipment and workspaces, adhering to safety and sanitation protocols.
• Assist with inventory management of linens and supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Follow proper procedures for stain removal and fabric care to prolong the life of linens.
• Support other housekeeping staff with laundry-related tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations during night shifts.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred.
• Knowledge of laundry machines, cleaning agents, and dry cleaning processes is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control.
• Ability to work independently during night hours while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
• Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as required.
