Position Overview

The Assembly Manager is an impactful position at SilencerCo. Assist in leading

the Assembly Department to champion monthly production goals, comply with

safety standards, and motivate the Assembly team - all while building incredible

products.

Job Responsibilities

  • Leads team and participates as a team player in all phases of the organization
  • with the same expectation for all employees

  • Ability to work with employees across all levels including planning, R&D,
  • Maintenance, Supply Chain, AME, QC, and Human Resources

  • Train employees in the proper use of equipment, enforce safety regulations,
  • assign tasks, and oversee employees' work

  • Comply with safe work practices; understanding work injury procedures,
  • workers comp, and OSHA standards

  • Recruit, hire and train qualified personnel; assigns work schedules, resolves
  • employee grievances, disciplines, and conducts annual performance reviews.

  • Create a career development path for positions in Assembly
  • Confere with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual
  • departments

  • Manage employee time card approvals, time off requests, and discrepancies
  • Perform regular performance evaluations for the team, with high focus
  • towards employee development of the Assembly Team

  • Actively lead, set, and participate in department Key Performance Indicators
  • Work with the Accessories supervisor on budgeting for department needs
  • Track daily targets and ability to lead and react for target misses
  • Uphold strict quality and process standards
  • Actively track and update the process to provide a first part yield standard
  • Ability to escalate serious issues through proper channels
  • Results

    • Job Qualifications (Required)

    • Ability to lift 25 lbs
    • Availability to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
    • 1 year of management experience, demonstrated ability to achieve results
    • Job Qualifications (Preferred)

    • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances with a positive attitude
    • Ability to effectively work in a team environment or independently with no
    • supervision

    • Ability to lead and keep team on task
    • Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple priorities
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Strong leadership skills; initiate and suggest plans to motivate employees to
    • achieve work goals, willingness to mentor and train operators

    • Understanding of SilencerCo's employee policies, company principals, and
    • manager expectations
