Job Summary:

As part of the Talent Acquisition team, the Recruiter will partner with the location staff to proactively develop and implement the recruiting and sourcing strategy for all positions within the local/regional community. This position works independently from the centralized talent acquisition manager/director, with supervision from the location Human Resources Manager requires local and/or regional travel.

Essential Functions / Process Responsibilities include the following: other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  • Support the GM to identify staffing strategies to meet short and long-term headcount needs

  • Support location by meeting full operational headcount to ensure service levels are met

  • Forecasting. Proactively seeking recruitment strategies to support increased headcount needs

  • Partner with the corporate HR department to provide ongoing feedback regarding onboarding processes, and participate in HR corporate special projects as needed

  • Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing need

  • Partner with community resources to create brand awareness and attract top talent

  • Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)

  • Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using our Applicant Tracking System

  • Manage recruitment and selection processes (resume screening, screening calls, interviews

  • Review employment applications and background check reports to ensure proper authorization and hiring requirements are met

  • Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in

current or future opportunities

  • Evaluate turnover trends to ensure best-in-class employee engagement and retention solutions are implemented

  • Administer and facilitate all onboarding requirements, background, and drug screening ensuring hiring compliances are met for all new hires

  • Strict adherence and accountability to employee confidentiality and hiring compliance

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • BS in Human Resources Management or relevant fieldwork for a minimum of 3+ years

  • Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role

  • Familiarity with social media, resume databases, and professional networks

  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods

  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs)

  • Ability to meet challenges with resourcefulness, generate suggestions for improving work, and develop innovative approaches and ideas.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, record-keeping, and follow-up skills.

  • Willing to work under tight deadlines and maintain exceptional judgment and discretion regarding sensitive matters.

  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships at all levels across the organization.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with a high level of effectiveness.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and HRIS software.
