Machine Operator-IMS Prod 2 - Day shift (6am-6pm)

Ricoh Electronics, Inc. (REI) is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to support our Thermal Slitting operations. Working at our Buford facility, this experienced operator will work a 12-hr shift (6:00 PM- 6:00 AM) with rotating days off operating slitting equipment (slitter, rewinder, down-ender, etc.). Under general supervision, the Machine Operator will Perform production activities that require a working knowledge of various processes, operations, and machines within the Slitting dept. Start, stop and feed assigned machine/equipment, identify and report imperfect operations and accurately maintain appropriate production documentation. Also, Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and follows guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.

Required

• 2 year(s): machine operator experience
• Strong math skills with the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Must have the ability to work in a safe manner
• Reads writes, speaks, and understands English
• Good mechanical skills/aptitude.
