Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Breakfast Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong background in breakfast and brunch service. This role involves preparing and cooking breakfast dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality food presentation and adherence to food safety standards. The Breakfast Cook will contribute to creating a welcoming dining experience for guests and support the overall operation of our kitchen.

Duties

• Prepare and cook breakfast items according to menu specifications, recipes, and quality standards.
• Assist with menu planning and ingredient sourcing to ensure freshness and variety.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling and storage.
• Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and sanitation procedures.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation during busy hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management of shortages or needs.
• Plate dishes attractively, ensuring consistency in presentation.
• Support catering or special event meal preparations as needed.

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles, preferably in fine dining or restaurant settings.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques.
• Experience with menu planning, catering, and serving is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
