Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative, supervisory, and communication skills, with experience in office management, event planning, and vendor relations. This role offers an opportunity to lead a dynamic team while maintaining efficient office workflows in a professional setting. The Office Manager will be responsible for managing schedules, overseeing bookkeeping and payroll, coordinating vendor services, and supporting human resources functions. A background in medical office management or similar fields is preferred, along with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
- Supervise administrative staff and coordinate team activities
- Oversee calendar management, scheduling meetings, and appointments
- Handle vendor management, including negotiating contracts and maintaining relationships
- Coordinate event planning for company functions and meetings
- Oversee bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar software
- Manage payroll processing and human resources functions such as onboarding and employee records
- Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting
- Maintain filing systems, both physical and digital, ensuring confidentiality and organization
- Oversee front desk operations, including multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette
- Ensure compliance with office policies and procedures
- Support training & development initiatives for staff members
Requirements
- Proven experience in office management, administrative support, or related roles
- Supervising experience with team management capabilities
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, calendar management tools, and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Experience with bookkeeping, payroll processing, budgeting, and vendor management
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—and professional phone etiquette
- Background in medical office management or healthcare administration is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to handle clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and front desk operations
- Experience with event planning and training & development activities is desirable
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities effectively
Pay: $ $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
