As a busy wedding venue, the Larimore hosts over 100 weddings annually. Given its role in the wedding industry, maintaining the building and property in pristine, beautiful and inviting condition is of upmost importance.
We are seeking a Facility Coordinator to oversee the maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate possesses a background in building and property management, HVAC systems, carpentry, and a keen eye for creating aesthetically pleasing and inviting environments. This position entails manual labor-intensive tasks, requiring self-sufficiency in maintenance operations and minimal reliance on external service providers.

Venue History:
The Larimore, constructed in 1850, is registered on the National Register of Historic Places. In September 2023, the Gilchrist Collection acquired the venue, and have since worked on a gradual renovation and upgrading process to restore its former glory. This position demands an individual with the ability to confront restoration and renovation projects, demonstrating patience and competence in executing these endeavors.
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify maintenance requirements
Coordinate, execute, and oversee repairs and maintenance tasks
Ensure the upkeep of the building and property, addressing any necessary repairs promptly
Maintain a clean and pristine environment within the building and property
Implement pest control measures and hire necessary vendors for this purpose
Oversee the overall cleanliness of the building
Refresh the interior and exterior paint of the building, including all walls, fixtures that can be painted, fences, and other surfaces. Ensure that doors and walls are free from scratches and scuff marks
Ensures that all equipment, including light bulbs, air filters, air conditioners, plumbing, and other necessary components, is maintained in optimal condition and any required repairs have been completed.
Manages landscaping concerns and oversees the upkeep of the grounds.
Collaborates with the General Manager and Head Office to oversee renovations, upgrades, paving, and other necessary improvements that occur at the venue.
This position presents a challenging opportunity for a highly skilled individual to contribute to the efficient operation of our facilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55, $60,000.00 per year
