Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced environment, particularly in nightclubs, or casual local bar settings. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain a clean and organized bar area will be essential to your success in this role.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain knowledge of drink recipes, ingredients, and presentation styles.
• Operate cash registers and process payments accurately using Aloha POS or similar systems.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries.
• Ensure the bar area is clean, well-stocked, and organized at all times.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during special events.
• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere to all legal regulations regarding alcohol service.
• Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service standards.

Requirements

• Previous bartending experience in a dive bar, local bar or nightclub, environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and Aloha POS systems is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
• Knowledge of the food industry and cocktail preparation techniques is essential.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
• Must have or be willing to obtain a NY Food Handlers Certificate within 3 months of hire.
• Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol in accordance with local regulations.
