Job Title: Part-Time WordPress Specialist (Elementor & Bluehost) - Location: Remote/Flexible Employment Type: Part-Time (approx. Role Objectives and Impact In this vital role, you will manage and enhance our existing WordPress website, ensuring it is a powerful tool for communication, engagement, and advocacy. You will be the go-to person for all things related to our digital front end and hosting environment, helping us to effectively communicate our mission to a global audience. Key Responsibilities ● Website Management: Maintain and update the website using WordPress CMS, ensuring optimal performance, security, and uptime.

● Design & Layout: Design and implement visually appealing and responsive page layouts using the Elementor page builder, aligning with our brand guidelines. ● Hosting & Technical Support: Manage all aspects of our Bluehost environment, including database management (MySQL), backups, and security monitoring. ● Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, bugs, and cross-browser compatibility problems quickly and effectively. ● Collaboration: Work closely with our small team (content creators, marketers) to implement new features, integrate third-party tools (e.g., email platforms, donation forms), and improve user experience (UX). ● Optimization: Implement SEO best practices and performance optimization strategies to increase site visibility and speed. Skills and Qualifi cations Must-Have Skills: ● Proven experience as a WordPress developer or administrator, showcasing a strong portfolio of relevant work. ● In-depth expertise in the Elementor page builder and theme builder. ● Familiarity with the Bluehost hosting platform and cPanel/site management tools. ● Profi ciency in core web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP. ● Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities. ● Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members. Preferred Qualifi cations (Nice-to-Haves): ● Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., basic photo editing for web assets). ● Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG). ● Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
