RK Pharma Inc, a vertically integrated pharmaceutical company headquartered in NJ, is seeking an Human Resources Associate to work with our growing Human Resources and Adminstrative Team  as we scale towards commercial manufacturing in the next upcoming months.? As a company focused on the development, manufacturing and sale of high quality and affordable generic pharmaceutical products worldwide we are looking for sharp, driven, self-directed individuals to help us grow our mid-stage start-up team. 

 This position is located in East Windsor, NJ and is required to be onsite.  

Requirements

If this sounds interesting to you, it's probably because up to this point you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or regulated environment. 
  • Knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance, and labor regulations (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, OSHA). 
  • Experience in recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations. 
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Paycom, SAP SuccessFactors) and proficiency in Microsoft Office. 
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. 
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. 
  • HR certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) preferred. 

The main expectations and responsibilities for this position are:

  • Administer day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding. 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, federal and state labor laws, and regulatory requirements. 
  • Maintain and update personnel files, HR records, and training documentation per GMP and corporate standards. 
  • Support performance review, disciplinary actions, and attendance management processes. 
  • Coordinate employee training, development, and engagement initiatives. 
  • Process and verify payroll and benefits administration in collaboration with Finance or external vendors. 
  • Provide guidance to employees and supervisors on HR policies, benefits, and procedures. 
  • Participate in internal audits and regulatory inspections by providing required HR documentation. 
  • Assist in recruitment logistics, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination. 
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance across all functions.
