Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle to deliver goods to various locations following assigned routes.
• Load and unload cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts, ensuring items are handled with care.
• Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers professionally, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction upon delivery.
• Verify delivery details, obtain signatures when required, and document all deliveries accurately.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to maintain safety standards.
• Assist with warehouse tasks including moving inventory, organizing stock, and supporting loading/unloading operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong focus on route driving and customer interaction.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) or equivalent preferred.
• Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmission.
• Ability to lift heavy items repeatedly, demonstrating physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and moving tasks.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
• Prior experience in warehouse work or logistics is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for specific equipment use.
