Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional to provide care and support to individuals per diem.

Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Support and transport individuals in participating in social and recreational activities
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
- Help individuals with disabilities navigate their home and community environments
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other support staff to ensure the well-being of individuals

Skills
- Experience working with people with disabilities, autism, or senior care
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
- Knowledge of social work principles and practices
- Familiarity with assisting individuals in assisted living, group home, and or 1 on 1 residential settings
- Proficiency in monitoring vital signs and responding to medical emergencies

Qualifications

- Must have a vehicle

• Must have a valid/current driver's license, car registration and car insurance

• Successful clearance of background checks

• Basic computer skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $19.50 per hour
